Welcome to the 'Rustic Retreat'. Our private bar has been open since June 2007 and has proven to be a huge success with our guests. In high season it opens 2/3 nights per week for food and drink, one night being your own BBQ night where the guests bring their own food and use the BBQ on the terrace. This is an ideal way for guests to mingle. The second night is usually a curry, mexican or similar themed night and the third night will be a galette night cooked in the traditional french style.
The 'Rustic Retreat' has been converted to a very high standard offering a bar area with tables and chairs and 42" plasma TV with sky channels for those all important footie matches.
There is also a free jukebox and a separate room which houses a pool table and downstairs wc.
The pool room houses a full size pool table for those important match games. This room has double patio doors which opens onto an enclosed patio with table and chairs.
Upstairs there is a lounge area with comfortable chairs. There is also a baby foot machine and TV and dvd for children as well as a selection of toys. Upstairs WC
There is an enclosed and private outside eating area fully decked with tables, chairs and umbrellas. There is a section for children with wendy house, small slide and seesaw. Ideal for Al fresco dining and just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful peaceful evenings.
The Rustic Retreat is open 2/3 times per week from July 15th to 31st August.
From 1 June to July 15th and Sept 1 to 31st Oct open 1 night per week.
Other times open for prearranged events. For party of 10 guests and over out of season opening times can be arranged.
